Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and operational policies.
  • Ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation, dispensing, and labelling.
  • Manage inventory to maintain proper stock levels and compliance with storage regulations.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, legal compliance, and patient safety.
  • Maintain licensure and regulatory compliance, acting as the primary liaison with state boards and accrediting bodies.
  • Prepare detailed records and reports, ensuring readiness for inspections and audits.
  • Optimize workflow to enhance efficiency, patient care, and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • PharmD or BSPharm from an ACPE-accredited program.
  • Proven leadership experience in a pharmacy setting (non-retail preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, inventory management, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and MS Office.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to integrity, quality, and patient-centered care.
