Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a high-performance environment.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and operational policies.
- Ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation, dispensing, and labelling.
- Manage inventory to maintain proper stock levels and compliance with storage regulations.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, legal compliance, and patient safety.
- Maintain licensure and regulatory compliance, acting as the primary liaison with state boards and accrediting bodies.
- Prepare detailed records and reports, ensuring readiness for inspections and audits.
- Optimize workflow to enhance efficiency, patient care, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
- PharmD or BSPharm from an ACPE-accredited program.
- Proven leadership experience in a pharmacy setting (non-retail preferred).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, inventory management, and compliance.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to integrity, quality, and patient-centered care.
